Movement in Bharatanatyam, and movement in the brain: Episode 2 of Vichaar
In this episode, I give a glimpse of the movement patterns in Bharatanatyam, talk about the complexity of movement, and see how the brain ascribes meaning to movement. A transcript of the episode can be found here.

I just watched the second installment of the Vichaar series. How powerful this is! In addition to providing us knowledge about the brain and coordination with the body and dance movements, we all get to see a warm-hearted and highly intelligent woman demonstrate how it all comes together in a totally delightful manner. My compliments to Sloka Iyengar! You are providing an unforgettable legacy as you instruct us each month. You can be certain I'll know when June is here!
