Bharatanatyam for all:
Instructional videos

Top image: At the Parents as Teachers Conference, talking about early brain development through neuroscience and Bharatanatyam
Below you will find instructional videos and see how I am adapting Bharatanatyam for creative aging:
The second jati (movement sequence) of the Saraswati Jatiswaram in a three-beat cycle
Mangalam

The Namaskara (invocation)

The beginning of another sequence (more to come..)

A small jati (movement pattern) along with a slokam (poem) for Lord Ganesha called Mooshika Vahana.
A slokam on Lord Shiva as the God of Dance (Nataraja)

Here I go through the a jati (a sequence of adavus), first just with my hands, and then with the entire body.

A short slokam (Yatho hasta tatho dristhi)
