Shabd at Morris Park NYPL (Culmination)We just wrapped up our creative aging sessions at the Morris Park Branch of the NYPL, and it was so much fun! Through movement and poetry, we moved, sang, and narrated beautiful poems. We discussed works by poets of Indian origin, and participants introduced works by Heine and Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer to the group.
We showed migration of birds and butterflies through dance, wondered if butterflies are anxious that they might lose their way, and talked about how we can be more observant of the world around us.
