Making Bharatanatyam accessible to Spanish speakers 

For as long as I’ve lived, worked, and performed in uptown Manhattan, I’ve wanted to make the language of Bharatanatyam accessible to my Spanish-speaking neighbors! I’m so excited that thanks to Kylie Madhav and LMCC, Ill be able to do just that! 

On August 20 and Sept 7, 2025, we are presenting īkṣaṇa (“caregiving”) at the YM & YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood, where Kylie will narrate the shows in English AND Spanish. 

īkṣaṇa (“caregiving”) is made possible in part with funds from Creative Engagement, a regrant program supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) in partnership with the City Council, and administered by LMCC.
